So months before the whole current Covid-19 situation, we had the pleasure of meeting and doing a pre wedding photoshoot for couple Geraldine and Si Woei.

We met them early, just like how we would usually meet our couples, just to be able to catch the first light. But the thing about nature and sun is that while you can plan to be there, you can’t always plan to have a beautiful sun rise. Lucky for Geraldine and Si Woei, that day was just such a day. The sun rose beautifully without being covered by any clouds and the best thing about morning suns are that it isn’t too harsh.

So admittedly, I’m personally not a morning person and it does take awhile for me to warm up. But the couple, Geraldine and Si Woei, they had this infectious energy and that would brighten anybody’s day up (even if you just forced yourself out of bed at 5am in the morning).

Geraldine must be one of the most cheerful and happy person I know. She laughs from her heart and sees joy in the littlest of things. When we got the couple to just do their thing and pretend we were not there, it was beautiful to see how Si Woei complements her in sucha harmonious way.

Together, they make even the simplest dates in the park an adventure by itself. It was lovely to see how both of them never stop laughing throughout the time we had with them. And it was one of those laughters that you could tell was genuine and it really was just another day for this happy couple, and didn’t deliberately do it for the camera. It was a real pleasure to be their pre wedding photographer and we hope they will always be this happy.
